Next Week: Some beautiful cinemagraph, a musical classical whose renditions are worth listening to, three movies that should never be missed, some clever cheatsheets for you, an introduction to what composting is and why you should care, a business idea or two, and if you like curating stuff from the internet, I might have a job for you.

BUSINESS IDEA: YOUTUBE
Passive Income via YouTube
Passive Income via YouTube
Many-a-times I come across YouTube channels, that are super simple and yet have been able to make passive income (income while you sleep) with little effort and a bit of imagination.
The human brain is always looking at ways to relax, and one of the senses that help us relax immediately, is sound. Play the right sounds and the other senses kick in, sight, touch, smell, etc. and we go into a meditative state, helping us repaid our body.
So what sounds can you record? The list is literally endless. Do you have cassettes lying around your house? Play them and make a video of the music and the tape recorder playing it. Have a few records lying around, same. Pick it up, show the front and back of it, take the record out of its sleeve and play it on a turntable, and voila, you got a channel going. Do you have those ancient tape cartridges, same formula. Once you start building a channel with such play lists, you will automatically venture out and buy more and make your channel grow.
Don’t have records? or tapes? or vinyl? or even CDs? well, you have sounds around you. You can buy decent microphone attachments for your phone or even microphone recorders like the Zoom H4n, H5, H6 and the newest H8 can you can record sounds of nature. Like this guy, The Relaxed Guy, with over 100+ Million views, he has recorded sounds of nature like gentle night light rain, water on the lake shore, and water sounds on a river/stream. This is very doable, and people love to list to such sounds. Why do you think he does it? Because he places an ad or two at the beginning of the track and earns advertising money from YouTube. Truly passive income whilst he sleeps.
You too can record sounds. Early morning birds chirping. Like gardening and playing with soil and plants, record the sounds of that. Working on your shoes, shinning them with a brush, record the sounds. A beach where you might live. The sounds in a forest. Not everything has to be sound of nature. You can record children running and playing in a park. You can record a busy traffic cord with cars and motorcycles cruising and honking by, or a busy restaurant, etc. Whatever you mind can think of, there is a demand for it out there.
You can very easily make between $300-$5,000 per month, depending on how many views you get and your niche. But there is nothing better than earning money while you sleep.

WORDS ARE VERY NECESSARY
If you know me, then you would know, English grammar and spellings are my weak points. Contrary to what you might think, I am extremely weak in this area. You have no idea, how much in awe I am with the vocabulary of the younger generation. I am always learning. Here is something I have recently printed out and placed next to my computer, to refer from time to time.
PS: Forgive the spelling and grammatical mistakes in the newsletter now please (I’m serious).

MONEY & INVESTING: BITCOIN
The rise, rise and rise of Bitcoin
The rise, rise and rise of Bitcoin
If you’ve been bitten by the cryptocurrency bug, then I think you must understand, this bull run, cannot last for long. At some point in time, a correction will happen. Most likely two corrections. A short one (between not and June) and one when the bull run finally runs out of steam by mid fall (September/October?). The second correction will most likely be announcing the start of the Bitcoin winter.
If you know who the person below is, you might want to take his advice.
𝘋𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘥 "𝘑𝘰𝘦𝘭𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘻" 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘻
This is probably going to be my least popular tweet ever, but: If you have life-changing amounts of cryptocurrency, please take some time to seriously consider selling some to reduce your risk and exposure. This is not any kind of prediction about what the market will do.
In addition to this, I highly recommend reading this two articles. A well-read person makes better investment choices than one who is simply speculating:
The programmatic reduction in block reward creates a self-fulfilling prophecy of extremely bullish price action (by Dion Guillaume), and
The conclusion of the long-term debt cycle is an inescapable economic reality that coincides with the ascent of the Bitcoin Network (by Dylan Leclair).
Please take your profits and don’t try to time the market.

2D BUT 3D - INSTANTLY
Chromostereopsis is a visual illusion that occurs when certain colors are placed alongside each other, making it unnecessarily difficult to focus on both colors. The illusion is due to the respective wavelengths stimulating different areas within the eye. (Source)
Here are some beautiful simple examples. You will instantly be able to experience the 3D visualization.

FAIR DINKUM
For most of human history, vehicles had an automatic collision avoidance system and they could even take you home (when properly programmed) when you were sleeping or drunk.
Then we got rid of the horse.
LIFE HACK
A couple of years ago, I decided to take some time off and write down all the important lessons that I learned in life. I did compile it into a list and publish it on my instagram, but I feel it still can be improved (version 2.0?) and more explanations can be offered.

Addressing the elephant in the room
One such life rule is to learn to have difficult conversations. More often than not, we tend to shy away from such conversation, deeming them to be confrontational - truth is, you’re only delaying it and it will stay inside of you. Whatever stays inside of you, builds up. What builds up. Ends up destroying you in some manner.
POTPOURRI
Just sharing some personal stuff, this is our dog Khushi (when translated in Urdu, it literally means “happiness”). This dog was a gift from a friend to whom I shall forever be in debt (for another reason). Khushi has been the life magnet of our household, even when we were going through a dark patch.
In case you are wondering, she is a boxer and she is still alive (albeit getting old) and lives in Karachi.

Digital Sanctum: For 30 plus years, I've been thinking of launching a newsletter, a mailing list of sorts. Over the years, I've collected and curated over 125,000+ web links. Information/stuff that I find worthy to share. This is my newsletter to share all that. Its not focused on any 'one' thing and it is not associated with my professional field of banking and payments. It is a weekly read that has information that one would consider fun, interesting, etc. to read. I hope you subscribe and come along for the ride.
